Vargas is a resident of Newport Beach, and is the Founder and CEO of Edge Music, a streaming service and digital music label. However, in July, she revealed that the company was struggling.
“Edge Music was a failure,” she said via Instagram Stories. “It’s not quite a failure yet but it’s on its way. I’m gonna pivot my life to a new direction to generate revenue – you know from things that I acquired – I can repurpose and you know.”
She isn’t giving up hope about her business ventures, however. “Anyone that knocks you for trying to be successful or being a serial entrepreneur or trying a new venture, don’t listen to them,” she said. “I mean I have people constantly throwing me under the bus, constantly trying to put me down for trying, constantly trying to eat at my soul and what I learned over the years is – you do you. Just do you and be happy with you and that’s what I’m learning. Just to be happy with me and do me, and I hope you guys do the same.”
“You know, I don’t know how I’m feeling today. I’m excited but I’m sad and I – it’s the end of an era – I was with the guy for 20 years. 17 years but divorcing for three,” she told fans via Instagram Stories. “20 years total of my life and I’m happy but it’s a failure. … I paid an arm and a leg to get divorced and to get what I thought I needed … and here we are transitioning to a new phase in my life and I’m excited.”
In July, Elizabeth sold her La Quinta, California property for $8.5 million. The figure is a 15% decrease from the original listing price of $9.995 million in May. The home was owned by Vargas and her now ex-husband Bodal.
Elizabeth’s boyfriend, Jimmy, will be featured on RHOC. “Jimmy and I have a very intimate relationship, we just don’t have sex,” she says in the Season 15 trailer.
According to Bravo, Elizabeth’s new friends “scrutinize who she is really is” due to her unconventional relationship with Jimmy.
Earlier this week, Vargas announced via her Instagram Stories that she's set to launch her own vodka brand, called Vargas Vodka. According to the trademark registration network, the application for Vargas Vodka was filed on August 13, 2020. The application is still pending at this time.
