RHOC’s Rumored Newbie Elizabeth Lyn Vargas Sells Her La Quinta Home For $8.5 Million!

Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, who is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 15, has sold her La Quinta, California property for $8.5 million.

The figure is a 15% decrease from the original listing price of $9.995 million in May, the Multiple Listing Service shows, according to The Press-Enterprise.

The property is located on a nearly 1-acre elevated lot in the Madison Club golf community, the 10,290-square-foot Mediterranean-style house has six bedrooms, a gym with an infrared sauna and a theater whose screen lifts to reveal a performance stage, two full bars, an office, and a butler’s pantry.

A double-height ceiling, with exposed trusses and a mezzanine walkway, adds drama to the great room. The gated house, completed in 2014, overlooks the 15th fairway of the 18-hole private golf course by Tom Fazio, the award-winning designer with more credits than anyone else on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses and Golfweek’s collection of America’s Best, reports the publication.

The backyard area includes panoramic views of the course and mountains provide a backdrop to the swimming pool and spa and firepit area along with a covered patio, barbecue area and fountains also grace the grounds.

According to The Press-Enterprise, the mansion was owned by Vargas and her soon-to-be ex-husband Bernt Bodal, who is a partner in Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp and former CEO of America Seafoods who in 2012 appeared on “Undercover Boss.” The former couple is currently in the process of divorcing.

Glenn Cassell of Madison Club Properties handled both sides of the deal.
