Dawn Ward Plans To Turn Her Cheshire Mansion Into Luxury Spa Retreat!

A decision is due to the approval to turn Dawn and Ashley Ward's home into a luxurious spa. Plans to turn the home of the Real Housewives of  Cheshire couple into a luxury spa will be decided by the northern planning committee of Cheshire East Council next week, according to Cheshire Live.

Last year, the couple submitted revised plans to change the use of Warford Hall near Alderley Edge into a luxury, boutique spa retreat.

Proposals include a luxury spa, a swimming pool and 16 bedrooms hosting a maximum of 30 overnight guests as well as a limited number of pre-booked day-spa guests.

If approved, the spa would be open from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 5pm on weekends and bank holidays.

The application proposes a two-story extension to the main hall to provide bedroom accommodation. This would be linked to a glazed spa and gym in a modern design, which will be attached to an existing outbuilding.

The application was called into the northern planning committee by Councillor Charlotte Leach on July 6, 2019, for the following reasons: “I am calling the application in on behalf of Great Warford Parish Council and a number of local residents who have a number of concerns including the traffic impact and the potential increase in noise at the site.”

A number of objections have been received from local residents or interested third parties.

These include: concerns that the proposed development would create excessive traffic and noise in the quiet, rural location; the change of permitted use to evening/night time will lead to increased noise and traffic for neighboring houses and residents; concerns over future use and that this application is an attempt to achieve a hotel, reports the publication.

The application is due to go before planning officers on Wednesday, February 12. Cheshire East’s planning officers are recommending members of the northern planning committee approve the application subject to conditions, according to report by Cheshire Live.

Dawn and Ashley bought the property 13 years ago but have had it up for sale for the last six years. Dawn currently runs her Skulpt beauty clinic in her property, Warford Hall home.
