The Bravo reality star and her husband Ken Todd have been working hard to bring awarness to help and save animals through their foundation, Vanderpump Dog Foundation. Recently the couple has been focused on putting an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival with their campaign Stop Yulin Forever.
"I do believe that if we turn away, ultimately we are condoning whatever is going on because we are doing nothing to stop it," Lisa recently shared to Motto via E! News when asked to describe a cause important to her. "We all have an obligation to do something and be constructive."
She added, "I learned the importance of compassion early on. My social activism is driven by that compassion: When I see people struggling, when I see people who are misunderstood, I want to do something."
"It's really really exciting. I hope it's going to build some awareness and really we just want to end it," Lewis told CiGi TV host last month.

The Yulin Dog Meat Festival takes place at the beginning of June, and it's been reported that up to 10,000 dogs and cats are slaughtered each year for the event. Recent images from south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region show dogs and cats squeezed into tiny cages before they are killed for meat.
