Leona Lewis Has Recorded A Song For Lisa Vanderpump's ‘Stop Yulin Forever’ Campaign!

Rejoice Leona Lewis fans, the X-Factor superstar has brand new music on the way and it's been revealed that one of her new tracks has been created for a very important cause. The pop star's new song is titled "Home" and it will be used for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump's campaign Stop Yulin Forever,

Vanderpump revealed to CiGi TV that Lewis had recorded "a beautiful song" for one of their projects together.

Vanderpump confirmed to us via Twitter that Lewis' new song was written by the legendary songwriter, Diane Warren. "Diane Warren wrote it! The two together are fantastic collaboration, thank you," she wrote.

The Stop Yulin Forever campaign is to highlight the ongoing dog and cat torture that occurs annually as part of the gruesome Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

When Lewis was asked about her collaboration with Vanderpump and her new track, the singer and songwriter told CiGI TV:  "Basically we're doing a campaign together against the dog torture in Yulin."

"One of my songs is going towards that campaign, so it's really really exciting. I hope it's going to build some awareness and really we just want to end it."

The Yulin Dog Meat Festival takes place at the beginning of June, and it's been reported that up to 10,000 dogs and cats are slaughtered each year for the event. Recent images from south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region show dogs and cats squeezed into tiny cages before they are killed for meat.
