The former child star is currently renting a two-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment that is inside a gated complex in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles — which is a noticeable downgrade from her previous lavish homes.

Kim's apartment complex boasts a shared pool, jacuzzi and is gated for extra privacy, which is a noticeable downgrade from her younger sister, Kyle Richards’ $8 million Encino mansion, or eldest sister Kathy Hilton’s Bel Air palace.
Kim Richards appeared as a full-time cast member on RHOBH between 2010 to 2015 for Seasons 1-5. However, she has made several guest appearances throughout the years.
However, Kyle revealed that Kim will not be making any appearances for the show's current eleventh season. During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Kyle told the outlet that her sister Kim didn't film any scenes this season.
“She did not [but] you never know [about next year].” Kyle said, according to a report by Reality Tea.
Apparently, the coronavirus is to blame as to why Kim decided not to film any scenes this season, as the ladies filmed Season 11 during the pandemic.
“We were filming during COVID and getting tested, and all that. She was very nervous. She, like, didn’t even leave her house. She was one of those people that just didn’t leave their home, they were so scared.” She added, “There was that, and then of course, we got [COVID] and she was like, ‘See, nevermind’. I think next year, or God willing, we’ll see what happens going forward, but I think that’s very likely.”
Kyle’s older sister, Kathy Hilton, however, joined the series as the official ‘friend’ of the series. Since making her debut as part of the cast, she has become an instant fan favorite. Hilton recently noted that she likes appearing in a part-time role, adding that she will never hold a diamond.
