Jennifer Aydin Claims Teresa Giudice Didn’t Want To Film ‘Real Housewives All-Stars’ Vacation Series With Melissa Gorga!

Teresa Giudice apparently didn't want to film with her sister-in-law and Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga on the Real Housewives All-Stars vacation series with her.

Jennifer Aydin recently shared that Giudice would have preferred to film the new Peacock series alongside a different franchise costar.

“The way that I saw that they casted, I was under the assumption that they picked the ones that had the most longevity on the show, so actually, it made sense to me that it was Melissa and Teresa,” Aydin said during a recent appearance on the Slut Pig podcast, according to The Sun.

“I mean, Teresa did say, ‘I wish I was going with you or Dolores [Catania].

"What am I gonna do with her [Melissa]?’

"But I was like, ‘No, you guys will have fun!’ And she’s like, ‘It is what it is.’”

Aydin continued, “But listen, Teresa didn’t say that because she has a problem with Melissa..."

"She just has such a good time with me and Dolores. So, she was just like, ‘I wish I was going with my two really good girlfriends.’

"I was like, ‘Sorry, Teresa, you can do all the work like usual.’”

Last month, a rep for Peacock officially revealed the cast for the upcoming series, which will stream later this year on the NBCUniversal streaming service.

The official cast includes The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, reports Bravo's The Daily Dish.

The news comes after PEOPLE reported that a Real Housewives All-Stars series is in development at NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock. The series began filming at Turks and Caicos late last month and filming wrapped earlier this month.

Sources previously shared that Bravo has been toying with the idea of a Real Housewives “all-stars" spinoff for quite some time, with talk ramping up when Peacock entered the mix. Some women were contacted in late 2019/early 2020 to test the temperature on the idea, which would see cast members -- potentially both past and present -- from various cities take a trip together.

“The trips are always the most memorable part of any season of Housewives, so it makes total sense they’d want to do this,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. “If the women want to do it is another question.”

Sources told the outlet that the original idea was to turn a week or weeks-long getaway into a limited series, which could be repeated with new women in new locations if successful.

Production on the potential show might look a lot like the fifth season of Bravo’s Summer House, which shot for six weeks straight with cameras on the cast 24/7 under strict COVID-19 protocols. Bravo is replicating that format with Winter House, a spinoff set to go into production in the coming weeks which will feature cast members from both Summer House and Southern Charm.

The Jasmine Brand was the first to report the news about the new limited series. While it’s not clear who will take part in the series, the outlet reports that “eight to ten ladies will go on a trip and stay in a home together at a tropical location.”
