Emily Simpson Reveals She’s “Looking Forward To Meeting” Heather Dubrow; Says She Will Form A “Completely Unbiased Opinion Of Her Based Upon” Their “Interactions And Not Everyone Else’s Comments”

Emily Simpson reveals how she feels about Heather Dubrow returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County. The lawyer turned reality star reveals how she feels about the news during a recent Instagram Q&A session, which was captured and shared by Reality Blurb.

A user asked Simpson, “Have you ever met Heather Dubrow before / are you excited to work with her?”

Emily responded, “I have not met Heather … but I’m looking forward to meeting her and forming a completely unbiased opinion of her based upon our interactions and not everyone else’s comments etc.”

When asked is she was excited about the upcoming new season of RHOC, Emily wrote, “Yes! Very much! Plus we will be filming in the summer time in OC so that’s a really cool thing!”

When asked if she has kept in touch with her fellow co-stars Shannon Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily replied, “I talk to Gina almost every day!”

The news comes after it was revealed earlier this month that Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas were not asked to return to RHOC for the show's upcoming Season 16. According to reports, Bravo decided not to renew their contracts.

A spokesperson confirmed the news to Variety about Windhand-Burke, Lyn Vargas, and Dodd’s departures.

Simpson, along with Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Storms Beador are all returning for Season 16. They will be joined by former Housewife Heather Dubrow, who originally left the series in 2017 after five seasons. Variety added that one or two new women will also join the cast.

However, it was reported that Braunwyn’s best friend Noella Bergener is joining the cast for Season 16 after Windham-Burke’s firing. “Noella is coming on board as a cast member for the new season, though Braunwyn will not be returning,” a source told The Sun. “They tested her out before the firing decisions were made. She has good chemistry with other potential new cast members.”
