Danielle Staub Slams Erika Girardi And Calls Out Bravo For ‘Glorifying Criminals’ And Paying Million To Teresa Giudice For Showing Her ‘Fake Life’ On ‘RHONJ’

Danielle Staub is calling out Bravo and accusing the network of supporting Housewives who have committed crimes following her appearance in the Hulu documentary, The Housewife and the Hustler.

The ABC News documentary highlights the legal problems of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi and her estranged husband Tom Girardi. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star appeared in the doc where she along with RHOBH alum Dana Wilkey offered their opinions on Erika and Tom’s legal issues.

Danielle shared a clip of her appearance where she shaded Erika. Staub also took the opportunity to slam Bravo including her former co-star Teresa Giudice.

“Personally I find it all extremely disheartening,” she began the post, according to Reality Blurb. “Yet here we are [Bravo] continues to support the Real crimes of [the] Housewives Franchise. This isn’t entertainment! It’s the lie Bravo tells you to create a storyline. Which ironically is not reality!”

“Bravo bends and manipulates the truth instead of simply Allowing [reality] to be the storyteller,” she continued in the caption.

“Reality [TV] should’ve followed Teresa’s real living circumstances in [season one of RHONJ], her home was in Lincoln Park,” she wrote. “I don’t judge but it was old filthy and anything but luxurious, Teresa was ashamed of her home, which ironically was never seen on the show.”

“[Bravo] STOP paying millions to [Teresa Giudice] a known Criminal and A convicted felon guilty of 42 [counts] of fraud. Stop glorifying the criminals!” she added. “If the franchise continues to pay cast and promote their fake lives, so many more crimes against society will be committed. In [reality] This will [affect] more civilians financially, emotionally, physically, and mentally.”

In the doc, Staub had a few shady things to say about the Pretty Mess singer. “Erika Jayne, I have seen on the show, and I also worked with her on Watch What Happens Live one or two times.”

“Didn’t get the best vibe from her — I know a lot of fake people, and it turns out, she’s just one of them,” she said.

The former Bravolebrity also slammed Erika’s lavish spending habits: “The ladies, they have a tendency to flaunt and still do, well beyond their means.”

Staub also threw shade at Erika’s pop singing career. “I liked that even though she can’t hold a tune, she sang. She entertained. She’s entertaining.”

Erika and Tom made headlines in November 2020 when the Bravo reality star filed for divorce after 20 years of marriage. The following month, the estranged couple was sued for fraud and embezzlement.

In addition to accusing them of swindling $2 million in settlement funds intended for families of victims of a 2018 plane crash, class action firm Edelson PC claimed in federal court documents that the divorce was “simply a sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom’s and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm.”

Tom faced a second lawsuit later that month, alleging that his company breached a written agreement and conversation with Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services. The bank sought immediate payment on the $882,715 outstanding bill.

As for Joe and Teresa Giudice, Joe began his 41-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in March 2016 after pleading guilty to conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges in 2014. Teresa served more than 11 months at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut in 2015 after pleading guilty to the same charges.

In October 2019, Joe was released from ICE custody and left the U.S. to his native Italy. Teresa and Joe finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage in September 2020.

Teresa went public with her relationship with Ruelas shortly after she finalized her divorce from Joe. Meanwhile, Joe went Instagram official with his new girlfriend Daniela Fittipaldi over Valentine’s Day weekend.
