Jill Zarin And Tamra Judge Are Not Joining ‘Real Housewives All-Stars’ Vacation Series Amid Rumors About An 8th Cast Member Allegedly Joining The Show!

According to multiple reports, the upcoming and untitled Real Housewives All-Stars vacation series, which is currently filming in Turks and Caicos for NBCUniversal's Peacock, an eighth cast member is reportedly set to join the cast halfway through the series.

The Sun previously reported that “an 8th person is going to be added halfway, and will be teased as some sort of twist,” a source claimed. While “nothing has been confirmed” as to who the bonus person could be, the informant claimed that Jill Zarin was "in talks" however, producers decided not to go through with the RHONY alum.

PEOPLE confirmed the news that the former Real Housewives of New York City star will not be involved in the project.

“There are no plans for her to film with the cast,” the insider said.

Tamra Judge revealed whether she was approached about being one of the cast members for the upcoming Real Housewives mashup series. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum confirmed that neither she nor OG Housewife Vicki Gunvalson are heading to Turks and Caicos to film the new show amid rumors that the show is adding an eighth cast member.

“Neither one of us [is going]. I don’t even know if it’s true,” Judge revealed on the S’More IGTV show “S’More Live Happy Hour.” “I do know that I’m getting text messages, like, ‘Are you going to Turks and Caicos?’”

A few days ago, Judge joked about being “on standby” via her Instagram Story. The former Bravo reality star posted a photo wearing a bikini, sun hat, and white beach pants back home in California.

Last week, a rep for Peacock officially revealed the cast for the upcoming series, which will stream later this year on the NBCUniversal streaming service.

The official cast includes The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, reports Bravo's The Daily Dish.

The news comes after PEOPLE reported that a Real Housewives All-Stars series is in development at NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock.

Sources shared earlier this month that Bravo has been toying with the idea of a Real Housewives “all-stars" spinoff for quite some time, with talk ramping up when Peacock entered the mix. Some women were contacted in late 2019/early 2020 to test the temperature on the idea, which would see cast members -- potentially both past and present -- from various cities take a trip together.

“The trips are always the most memorable part of any season of Housewives, so it makes total sense they’d want to do this,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. “If the women want to do it is another question.”

Sources told the outlet that the original idea was to turn a week or weeks-long getaway into a limited series, which could be repeated with new women in new locations if successful.

Production on the potential show might look a lot like the fifth season of Bravo’s Summer House, which shot for six weeks straight with cameras on the cast 24/7 under strict COVID-19 protocols. Bravo is replicating that format with Winter House, a spinoff set to go into production in the coming weeks which will feature cast members from both Summer House and Southern Charm.

The Jasmine Brand was the first to report the news about the new limited series. While it’s not clear who will take part in the series, the outlet reports that “eight to ten ladies will go on a trip and stay in a home together at a tropical location.”
