Sorisha Naidoo Reveals What Surprised Her The Most About Filming The Real Housewives Of Durban!

Sorisha Naidoo spilled the tea about the first season of The Real Housewives of Durban. Naidoo recently did a Q&A with The Citizen where she explained how she ended up on the popular Showmax reality series.

The Following Q&A is courtesy via The Citizen

Q: Each Real Housewives city showcases unique things about their location, what do you think your season will show about Durban?
Naidoo: Our season showcases parts of Durban. I think the pandemic has hindered the geographical wonderland that Durban has to offer but we have tried our best to impart and engage with our ladies on various cultural activities.

Q: How did you end up being on the show?
Naidoo: I was approached by production.

Q:  What did you enjoy most about filming the show?
Naidoo: I enjoyed being with the ladies and interacting with them sharing different views, which I always value as an opportunity to learn and grow.

Q: What did you enjoy the least?
Naidoo: The drama…the drama is crazy and uncomfortable and sometimes can be cranky silences.

Q: What surprised you most about being part of the filming process?
Naidoo: It is not scripted and sometimes we talk about the most amazing topics about women empowerment and sometimes not. Often enough when the cameras cut we still stay and chat for an hour.

Q:  Will you be addressing some of the burning questions the public has about you?
Naidoo: Those burning questions can sometimes be two decades old and are probably lining linen drawers everywhere.

Q:  Did you find yourself in any drama this season?
Naidoo: Yes.

Q:  What else about your life will viewers get to see?
Naidoo: My family, my dogs and life in general.

Q: What are you hoping the show will achieve?
Naidoo: I’m hoping the show will be entertaining and a fun escape from the daily grind.

Q: Would you consider a career in TV full time?
Naidoo: I love presenting, acting and have also enjoyed the reality stint, so yes.

Q: Do you follow the Real Housewives franchise? If so, which other city/cast is your favorite?
Naidoo: I love Potomac and New York.
