Kyle Richards has found herself in an unexpected feud with Real Housewives of Orange County alum Peggy Sulahian.
The drama kicked off after the Instagram page Real Housewives Confessionals shared a photo of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star getting glammed up as she is filming the opening credits of the upcoming eleventh season.
In the comment section of the post, Sulahian slams Richards and claims that the OG RHOBH star tried to take her down.
Peggy wrote, "Shame on her. She’s part of the clan who tried to take me down. @kylerichards18 along with Dr. Estella, and @mumansky18 have continuously spread lies about me. They bash me on social media on a daily bases! Paul Atteukenian and Patrick Simpson have been arrested on counts of petty theft, illegally running a fraudulent children's agency, and have stolen money from me without my knowledge. Google their names and read the numerous of articles written about them, including the LA times @bravoandy @bravotv"
To which, Kyle fired back. "I had to look you up to see who are you," Richards wrote. "I have no close what you are talking about."
Peggy is referring to the comments that Kyle's mother-in-law Dr. Estella made about her amid fallout with her brother.
Peggy's brother Pol' Atteu and his partner Patrick Simpson claim that the former RHOC star banned them from attending their father's funeral for being gay, Peggy for her part denied the allegations.
In August 2017, Kyle's mother-in-law, Dr. Estella Sneider, mother of Mauricio Umansky accused Peggy of being homophobic in a Facebook post. "@Andy Bravotv.com @Bravotv @Evolution Huffington Post #BravoPR GLAAD @GLAAD #LGBTQ COMMUNITY @NOH8 NOH8 Campaign “I have known Peggy’s family since 1974 when they first came to this country,” Los Angeles attorney #EileenKeussayan said. “And I did attend Peggy’s father’s funeral last year. Her and her husband Diko made it known that her brother Pol’ and his fiancé Patrik were not welcome because they are gay.”"
Dr. Estella Sneider shared multiple reports about Peggy, accusing her of banning her brother from their father's funeral and accusing Peggy of being homophobic.
But in October 2017, Sulahian addressed the rumors during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "Absolutely not. I am not a homophobe, absolutely not. We have not spoken in twenty years," she said about the rumors about being homophobic and her fallout with her brother. "No, I am not a homophobe. I support the LGBT community. I love them. I have nothing against them and it has nothing to do with him being gay at all."
As for why she and her brother are estranged, Peggy added, "It's a private family affair and that's just what it is."
