Jayne Rayner reveals why she decided to join ITVBe's The Real Housewives of Jersey. “The TV people came to me,” she told Leicestershire Live. “They contacted me and asked me if I wanted to be on this new ‘housewives’ show.”
“We chatted and the very next day was on set. I loved it from the start. I am quite adventurous at times and wanted to see what it was all about. I am the type of person who pushes at an open door and if it opens a bit more then I go in. If it doesn’t I don’t go there. This show seemed an interesting opportunity so I went for it.”
Rayner sums up the show to people who are not familiar with the new ITVBe hit reality series.
“The show, to explain for anyone that doesn’t follow it, is essentially about a group of seven ladies of varying ages, following their family and social lives with all the ups and downs that brings,” she explained. “We have some fun activities, parties and even a staycation. We mostly get on well but there are some clashes, but that makes it so entertaining.”
Rayner then reveals some of her favorite passions. “I am passionate about making the world a better place. I am proud to be an ambassador for Brighter Futures, a wonderful charity supporting parents, families, and young people in Jersey.”
“Sir David Attenborough is one of my heroes. I am a strong believer that we can all do our bit to improve the environment and that small changes can make a big difference.”
She added, “I love clothes, especially pre-loved clothing which is both cheaper and better for the environment. In the Real Housewives of Jersey you will see me wearing a huge variety of different styles - that’s why my nickname is “fashionista.” ”
