‘Variety’ Editor Shuts Down Jax Taylor’s Claims That ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Will Start Filming Later This Month!

Variety’s editor-at-large, Kate Aurthur is shutting down Jax Taylor’s claims that Vanderpump Rules will start filming Season 9 later this month.

Aurthur responded to a tweet about Jax’s comments about him returning to the show when the series begins filming later this month. “According to Bravo, neither of these things is true,” she tweeted, according to a report by Reality Blurb.

Kate also responded to another tweet about who will possibly return to the Bravo hit reality series.

“I was on a Huddls with the Toms in Aug and they also thought filming was to start in Oct,” a fan wrote.

To which Kate replied, “The Toms may film again sometime! Any new version of the show would include them.”

Last week, Taylor has revealed that Vanderpump Rules is “supposed to” start filming sometime “this month.”

During an Instagram Live session, Taylor answered a fan’s question about the future of the Bravo hit reality series.

“We’re supposed to go back to filming. Vanderpump Rules is supposed to go back to filming,” Jax confirmed, according to a clip of his IG session shared by The Real Andy of Beverly Hills.

“In fact, we were supposed to go back this month, in fact, I think. We’re supposed to,” he continued, according to a report by Reality Blurb. “That’s the last I heard. We were supposed to. But it’s just a matter of when they’re gonna allow us.”

If you recall Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Brett Caprioni, and Max Boyens were fired from the Bravo hit reality series in June after their racially insensitive remarks from their past resurfaced.

Bravo, meanwhile, has yet to announce official plans for season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. Katie Maloney confirmed last month that she hasn’t gotten a call from the network yet.

“They haven’t canceled it, so there’s hope still. At least there’s not, like, anything definitive in that regard,” she told Entertainment Tonight on September 10. “I try to picture [the show without Stassi and Kristen] and think about it, and it’s so weird … It’s definitely gonna feel different and look different, but it’s not like they’re not a part of my life, you know? So, it’s gonna be weird to have this part of my life that was very much on the show not on the show anymore.”
