Teddi Mellencamp Spills The Tea About Her ‘RHOBH’ Exit: Reveals How She Found Out That She Is Not Returning For Season 11 And Whether She’ll Be A ‘Friend’ And More — Plus She Reveals Which Co-Stars Reached Out Following Her Exit Announcement!

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave gets candid about her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as she shared some behind-the-scenes details of her departure from the Bravo hit reality series.

Mellencamp took to Instagram to answer questions on Thursday, September 24, after she announced she wasn’t asked back for season 11 of the Bravo series.

“I did see all of your messages saying, ‘Why did you turn commenting off on your last Housewives post? We wanted to say thank you or we wanted to ask you a question or we wanted to reach out and see how you’re doing,’ Teddi began via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, according to Us Weekly. She went on to admit that she gets her “feelings hurt” from “time to time” but was ready to tackle their questions.

So how did she found out that she was not returning for season 11? “I found out from my agent and manager. That was a phone call,” she quipped.

Teddi admitted that she “had an idea” when “all of these magical memories we had as a family that were filmed were completely not shown” during season 10 that something was “up” with her role on the show.

Is she returning as a ‘friend’ of the series? “Of course I’ve been asked that,” she replied about having a part-time role on the series. “I’m really trying to figure out what’s best for me and next steps and my family and work and all the things. So I never say never about anything, but I’ll just have to see.”

As for her own spin-off, Teddi  said, “We’ll just have to see about that won’t we.”

Teddi revealed which c-stars she stays in touch with since announcing her exit. “Nobody really knows what to say. Of course it’s like, ‘I can’t believe this, I’m so sorry, this is so crazy this is happening,’” Teddi explained. “But I truly know in my heart that all of the real friendships will continue on show or no show.”

Teddi added that she speaks to Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards “almost every day.”

She went on to give shout-outs to all of her former castmates — except for Denise Richards. “Dorit [Kemsley] was so incredible when it came to all the kids that went down with my kids this year. Same with Sutton [Stracke]. Garcelle [Beauvais] reached out.

Mellencamp also opened up about her friendship with Kyle, “I can’t even put into words what an amazing friend Kyle is and how much I love her family and our friendship,” she said, according to Us Weekly. “And how crazy it is that we met on a reality television show.”

Teddi shut down a question about producers forcing her to bring up Denise’s alleged relationship with Brandi Glanville at the cast dinner in Rome.

“I’m a grown person. I’m pretty sure no one can make you do anything," she said. "It was told to me on camera, along with things about me. Y’all know what the show is about.”
