Lis Vanderpump is addressing rumors that she is about to file for bankruptcy after a report claimed that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is having "huge financial issues."
A fan questioned comedian Heather McDonald about whether or not she asked LVP about the reports during Lisa’s recent appearance on her podcast, The Juicy Scoop.
“Omg! Did you ask if the rumors of her going bankrupt are true?” the fan asked Heather on September 14, according to a report by Reality Blurb.
But Lisa took it upon herself to address the rumors. She simply responded, “Not yet..”
Earlier this month, Vanderpump appeared on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s podcast, Give Them Lala… With Randall, where she admitted her finances had taken a hit amid the ongoing pandemic.
In July, Vanderpump confirmed that her restaurant Villa Blanca was closing after 12 years. LVP shared that the 12-year lease for the restaurant is expiring imminently and the landlord was not willing to renegotiate on the rent price.
Vanderpump revealed that she’s hopeful that she can reopen the restaurant at a different location after the pandemic. In March, Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd closed their Southern California restaurants SUR, Pump, TomTom, and Villa Blanca after Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti ordered all bars and restaurants throughout the city to close due to the coronavirus outbreak.
However, it appears that SUR is about to reopen after the restaurant was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vanderpump’s business partner, Guillermo Zapata, confirmed the news via Instagram.
He wrote, “Finally !! Can’t wait to have one of these delicious Margaritas (with dinner 🍽 ) from the best Bartenders in town .
