Following the reunion, Beauvais went on her Instagram Story and addressed the topic.
“I want to take a few moments to say my piece, if you will,” Garcelle told her Instagram followers in a series of videos. “You guys know that I’m a straight shooter, I say it like it is, I try to speak my truth always. I got called out at the reunion of Beverly Hills saying that I bid for a charity event and did not pay for it. I hope you guys know better than that.”
Garcelle then admitted that the donation was initially unpaid because of a simple mistake. “It fell through the cracks in assembly. I was traveling all over the world last year, and it innocently fell through the cracks. Why wouldn’t I pay for something that I bid?” she noted. “This is my character, this is my integrity. I don’t play around when it comes to things like that.”
She concluded, “I wanted to set the record straight,” she said. “I know that the show is about drama, but when it comes to who I am as a person, I don’t play around with things like that. There, I said it. And now, let’s go on with the show.”
She later confirmed on Twitter after asked if she ended up paying her donation. “Of course I paid,” she wrote.
However, Kyle Richards also took to her Instagram Stories to address the comments she about Beauvais at the reunion regarding not paying the donation.
“I would like to address my ‘calling out’ [Garcelle] at the reunion over her not paying her donation to [the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles],” Kyle wrote in a lengthy statement via her Instagram Story on September 3. “To be clear, everyone who made a donation at my event paid THAT night. There were multiple attempts to reach out to Garcelle that were left unanswered.”
“My point was to just be genuine,” Kyle continued. “Don’t do things just for the [cameras],” Kyle advised. “Whether it is picking an unwarranted fight with me or making a ‘DONATION’ TO a charity thats very important to my family and me. THERE WAS ZERO PRESSURE TO DONATE.”
She added, “Garcelle has since paid her donation and I am grateful to her and the others that helped us raise almost a 1/2 million dollars from that night.”
Garcelle reacted to Kyle’s statement on Twitter after Entertainment Tonight host Nischelle Turner brought it to her attention.
“Hey Kyle, you saw Garcelle numerous times over the course of a season, if there were ‘numerous attempts to reach out to her’ why didn’t you just say something to her when you saw her? In person. That’s an honest question,” Nischelle tweeted, according to Reality Blurb.
To which Garcelle responded, “She’s full of sh*t.”
Meanwhile, Lisa Rinna seemingly chimed in on the between Richards and Beauvais.
“I too donated 5K to [the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles] at [Kyle Richards] party, and they took my credit card right on the spot. What an amazing hospital it is! So happy to support,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories.
“For the next 24 hours let's raise as much as we can for [the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles] just click to donate,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories by adding a donation link.
She shared another charitable link to help support the Children's Cancer Research via her Instagram Stories. “It's also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories by adding a donation link and added the hashtag, “#childhoodcancerawarness.”
If you recall in Part 1 of RHOBH Season 10 reunion, Kyle called out Garcelle for allegedly not paying her donation that she bid on at her charitable event.
“You came to my charity event, raised your paddle to donate $5,000 to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and never paid,” Kyle claimed. “You were not being genuine.”
Garcelle immediately denied the allegation and clapped back. “That is not true,” she said. “You better watch what you’re saying.”
