Alicia Quarles Teases Whether Or Not She’s Joining ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’ For Season 13!

Rumors have been swirling that Alicia Quarles is in talks to join the upcoming new season of The Real Housewives of New York City after Bravo revealed that they want to shake up the cast and add diversity to the series.

The Daily TV correspondence and journalist addressed the rumors during a recent appearance on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef.

“I can’t confirm nor deny,” Quarles said. “I can just say that I’m friends with all the women on there. They’re wonderful. It’s a bomb franchise. So you know, it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be.”

“Listen, I’m the ultimate New Yorker,” she added. “So I’m just saying if it happens, it’s all good.”

OK! Magazine reported on July 27th that multiple sources revealed that Quarles, who is married to husband Michael Ross, inked the deal with the network to join the series.

According to the outlet, Quarles addition comes from Bravo to “increase diversity” on the series.

“Alicia deserves to be on the show because of who she is,” said the source. “But there is no doubt that recent events across the country provided a reckoning for television producers, and the Housewives have not been immune to that.”

However, a Bravo rep confirmed at that time that while Quarles did meet with casting, “she has absolutely not been cast.”

“Alicia has just simply met with the casting agency for RHONY as have numerous other women who have been recommended by the current New York Housewives. That is as far as the discussion with Alicia has gone,” the source explained.
