Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that Williams' activism and arrest will be "heavily" featured on the upcoming new season of RHOA.
Production sources reveal that "producers want to shine a light on Porsha's fight for social justice as much as possible in the new season, because Bravo knows viewers would be riveted by Porsha's commitment to racial justice."
The outlet's sources added that there no 'RHOA' camera crew during Porsha's protest and arrest as the pandemic made it unsafe to send the crew. However, producers will rely on raw cellphone footage to tell her story.
The news comes after Williams and Yandy Smith-Harris were arrested after peacefully protesting on behalf of Breonna Taylor. The protest was part of a four-day event organized by social justice group Until Freedom, traveled from Louisville police training headquarters to Churchill Downs to the University of Louisville’s Cardinal Stadium.
Police arrested protesters who had been blocking a main road outside the football stadium, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.
As we previously reported, Williams was released from jail after she along with 'Love & Hip Hop' star Smith and reality TV star and activist Tamika Mallory were arrested in July for protesting at the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on behalf of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky.
TMZ reported that the Louisville police department confirmed that Porsha was among 87 people who were arrested and charged “due to their refusal to leave the property and their attempts to influence the decision of the Attorney General with their actions.”
Williams was charged with felony intimidating a participant in a legal process, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and criminal trespassing, however, charges were later dropped.
