Porsha Williams Could Face 1 To 5 Years In Prison Over Breonna Taylor Protest Arrest!

Porsha Williams called out Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron for having her arrested on a felony charge for protesting at the DA’s office on behalf of  in Louisville, Kentucky in a now-deleted Instagram post, which was captured and shared by The Shade Room.


“Wow @danieljaycameron you really took the time to upgrade 1 out of 3 of our charges to FELONY?? This is disgusting .... meanwhile not one peep about this botched investigation of Breonna Taylors MURDER!!!

She continued, “Plus not one arrest of the cops .... instead you celebrate with your bride and give them Active desk duty to keep these killers protected. You can’t possibly think this is ok! Sure create the possibility for peaceful protesters to get locked up for 1-5 year but absolutely no accountability for your officers?!! 😡🥺 This is sad that this is the world we live in!! It’s simple don’t kill us as we sleep in our homes , don’t kill us for sleeping in our car, don’t kill us from walking to a store and don’t Kill our spirits and further oppress us when we stand up to say you are Wrong!!! #JusticeForall #JusticeforBreonnaTaylor”


Williams has been released from jail after the Real Housewives of Atlanta star along with 'Love & Hip Hop' star Yandy Smith and reality TV star and activist Tamika Mallory for protesting at the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on behalf of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 14.

TMZ reported that the Louisville police department confirmed that Porsha was among 87 people who were arrested and charged “due to their refusal to leave the property and their attempts to influence the decision of the Attorney General with their actions.”

According to a report by The Blast, Williams was charged with felony intimidating a participant in a legal process, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and criminal trespassing.

The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of 5 years if convicted.

Eventually, she was granted bond and released from the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. The Bravo reality star shared a photo outside the jailhouse with Breonna Taylor’s mother, with the caption, “It was my pleasure! I love you and as always praying for you Ms.Tamika Palmer (Mother of #BreonnaTaylor ) Ps: Thank you for waiting on us to get out! It was heart warming exiting and seeing your family🙏🏾 @untilfreedom it was an honor @tamikadmallory.”


According to NBC News, Taylor was in her apartment when she was shot and killed by Louisville police on March 13. An investigation is currently underway. She would have turned 27 last month and at the time Porsha and Lauren attended a Say Her Name March in Atlanta in honor of the Black women who have died, including Taylor.
