Andy Cohen Admits The Cast Of RHONY Are ‘Off The Rails’ This Season!

Andy Cohen is addressing the drama on the current season of The Real Housewives of New York City. During an interview with Australia's The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Cohen admitted that the cast was “off the rails” this season, but promised that their drinking would be addressed in future episodes.

“There's a lot of booze this season,” the Watch What Happens Live host said.

“The good news is that it becomes a big topic of discussion as the season goes on because they're all kind of in various stages of being off the rails,” he continued.

“So they actually start talking a lot about their relationship with alcohol and alcohol in the group,” he added, according to The Daily Mail.

Leah McSweeney and Luann de Lesseps have revealed that they've been sober during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m so glad during quarantine to not have to deal with drinking,” Luann told Us Weekly earlier this month. “I feel like if I was drinking during quarantine, I’d be drinking a lot.”

Meanwhile, McSweeney announced late last month that she has been sober for three months after filming season 12 of the Bravo hit reality series. “Once COVID hit, I knew quarantining and the way I drink would not work well together … to say the least. Not drinking during the pandemic has been a complete gift to me, and the nine years of living booze-free has made the transition much easier to deal with,” she said in a statement to Us Weekly.

“I am so incredibly touched by the outpouring of love and support on social media. I want to remove the stigma and shame surrounding addiction and mental health issues as this is something I’ve been open about and will always continue to be.”
