Amelia Gray Hamlin Says Her Mother Lisa Rinna ‘Forced’ Her To Appear On RHOBH — Lisa Responds To Daughter’s Claim!

Lisa Rinna's daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin clapped back on Sunday after she was accused of lying about having an eating disorder in order to get more "air time" on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The young model shared a screenshot of the comment via her Instagram Story, calling the accusation "disgusting."

"I usually don’t post these. But this really got to me," she wrote. "Lying about a mental illness is disgusting. Something I hope nobody would ever do."

Amelia added that the only reason she appears on the hit Bravo franchise is because of her mom, who is a full-time cast member.

"I seriously can’t believe I’m being accusing of lying about anorexia to get more 'air time' sorry but I’m forced to be on the housewives by my mom," she continued. "Ask anyone it’s the last thing I want to do. I couldn’t care less about air time. So f--- you."

Following Amelia’s claim, Rinna reacted to her daughter’s statement in the comments section of the post, according to a screenshot obtained and shared by Reality Blurb.

“I signed up to do a reality show and this was happening while we were filming. We did not hide it. Amelia has helped so many by sharing her story,” Lisa explained.

In a second comment, she added by writing, “Get your facts straight. Amelia has been open on Instagram about her health way before we filmed the show.”

As previously reported, Amelia opened up about her eating disorder struggle in April 2018 via Instagram. "Last year at this time there was no doubt that I was not okay. Not only physically but also mentally. I feel like sometimes people forget that just because your job involves being in front of the camera, doesn’t mean you can’t have bad days," she wrote. "We’re human. All of us. Instead of people ever commenting on my mental stability, people commented on my weight. Usually, when people are struggling with an eating disorder it stems from your mind, and your body is a reflection of it. I could go on and on about that time of my life, but the most important part about it was waking up one morning and deciding to stop sabotaging myself. My health, my physical health, my mental health and everything about myself. Once I got the help that I needed, shortly after the second photo was taken, I began to try to love myself for me."

She continued: "I am SO beyond humbled and grateful to have the platform that I do at such a young age, and to wake up every morning with a little girl reaching out to me and telling me I am her inspiration, really makes me feel like I have a purpose. I went through this journey not for attention, not for people to pitty me, but to help. I am on this earth to help people, and I know that. One in 200 women in the US suffer from anorexia. And I want to help. The first photo, taken today is not a photo of the perfect girl. That is a photo of me, trying to figure out my body, and owing my curves that I naturally have, and not forcing myself to starve them away.

She added: I have a lot of health complications after starving myself for so long so it’s going to be a journey that I go through for a large part of my life. I still have an extremely healthy life style and I workout so hard all week to maintain my Body. Not to say that recently being diagnosed with hashimotos has also been an extreme challenge for me to balance when still getting over this part of my life, but I am getting there. One day at a time. I want to help."

Rinna dedicated an Instagram post to her daughter Amelia to praise her for opening up about her past struggle with an eating disorder.

"@Ameliagray we are so proud of you!!! You are brave and courageous to share your journey. Your will and your strength for someone of 16 years of age is way beyond your years. You are so wise and each day you teach us to be better and to do better," she wrote.

She added: "I am honored and so very proud to be your Momma. I do believe you were put on this earth to help others. You are an inspiration to us all. We are so very blessed to have the family that we have and the love we all share. Your truth has set you free. I love you to the moon and back. So in awe of your authenticity and strength. You are beautiful and brave. ❤️ Love Momma"
