Luann de Lesseps Explains Why RHONY Is Doing “Very Well” Without Bethenny Frankel! Plus Luann Wants Aviva Drescher Back On The Show; Says “I Think Aviva Was A Great Housewife”

Luann de Lesseps explains why the current season of The Real Housewives of New York City is doing well without Bethenny Frankel. “I think you see on the season that we get along very well without her,” Luann told HollywoodLife.

When the Countess was asked whether or not she thinks Bethenny’s watching the show, following her exit, Luann said, “Oh, I’m sure she’s watching.”

Following Bethenny’s exit, Luann teased about Jill Zarin's appearance later this season. “I think you’re gonna see this season that I bring back Jill [Zarin],” Luann said. “I love Jill. She’s, she’s great. And she’s the one that got me on the show in the very beginning.”

When asked about anyone else, Luann said, “I always say I bring back Aviva [Drescher]. I think Aviva was a great housewife.”

Currently, Frankel has been staying busy working on her philanthropy, BStrong, to fighting the pandemic. Last month, she donated 250,000 N95 masks to New York City hospitals.

“We will have distributed over $16 million worth of aid this week and that will grow exponentially,” she told Extra.
