“I thought it was great,” said Sandoval. “I thought it was amazing. I loved that whole setup. I mean, I was so impressed [with] what production did — they brought over these TVs, everything was completely connected.”
“Yeah, I thought it was really good,” added Kennedy. “I thought that it was going to be boring in the beginning, but after it was done, I was like, 'This is the best reunion yet.' I just didn't know [if] we were going to get our true emotions across the screen, but it worked.”
Meanwhile, new cast member Kathan took to Instagram to spill the tea about the upcoming virtual special. “Was the [Vanderpump Rules] reunion virtual? Yes. Was it still f--king insane and shocking? Also yes. Tune in,” she wrote.
Earlier this month, Cohen confirmed that he hosted the virtual reunion with the season eight cast of the Bravo hit reality series. “I taped the Vanderpump Rules reunion on Thursday,” Cohen dished on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on Monday, May 4.
“It was a great reunion,” he said. “Really good.”
Late last month, sources revealed that the reunion for Pump Rules was going to be filmed online, just like RHOA amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“It really is looking that way with a decision coming down any minute,” a source told HollywoodLife. “Nobody knows when they’ll be able to film and they know they need to get it done. Everyone’s health and safety is the biggest concern and they won’t take any chances.”
The insider shared that “they will wait as long as they possibly can to be able to do it in person, but it’s looking less and less likely with each day that passes due to the Coronavirus.”
“Of course, everyone will be bummed out to not do it in person,” the insider continued. “They really do not want to have to shoot the reunion virtually as the cast is so large and there’s so much to say and that needs to be addressed,” the source added.
