“Brandi was really upset that Denise denied their hookup, which is why she began speaking up about it,” a source told HollywoodLife. “She confronted Denise at a party at Kyle [Richards‘] house and Denise was a bit afraid of what Brandi was going to say when she sat everyone down.”
The source adds that Brandi “felt like Denise cut her out of her life out of nowhere and made her look like a liar, so she was upset which is why she spoke out. Brandi will not hold back at all this season.”
The news comes after it was reported that Brandi and Denise had sexual relations in the past. While Richards initially “laughed it off,” a source told Us Weekly, Denise now “wants all of that footage taken out of the show.”
“It’s one thing for the drama to be directed or even scripted in certain situations, but to have blatantly false lies spewed as if it were fact is just wrong and shouldn’t be allowed,” the source revealed. “Brandi wanted to confront Denise at the finale of the cast party, but Denise already had other plans that evening and she didn’t want to give her a platform to make those allegations. … Brandi needs to provide proof that she hooked up with Denise. Text messages, dates, specifics.”
Meanwhile, other sources claimed that the Starship Troopers actress had stopped filming. “She didn’t show up to Teddi’s baby shower,” the insider said, adding that Glanville was in attendance. A separate source told the publication that Richards had a previous conflict on the day of Mellencamp’s baby shower and that she did not attend the finale party because of a family emergency.
“She was very involved in all the production leading up to the end of the show,” the source said.
Denise’s rep publicly denied the allegations. Brandi first hinted about the feud when she revealed on Twitter, writing, “I just got ‘Denised.’ … 1-blackmail is illegal. 2-I have no skeletons in my closet (they’re all on the internet). 3-slut shaming is soooooo last year.”
After a fan called Richards out over the alleged rumors, the actress responded and clarified that she and Aaron were monogamous despite reports.
