RHOJ Alums Evodia And Mercy Mogase Open Up About Their New Reality Show ‘Madam And Mercy’; Says “People Will See The Reality Of Live”

Evodia and Mercy Mogase are ready for the grand return to reality television. The mother-daughter duo, who appeared in the first season of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg are opening up about their upcoming spin-off series called Madam and Mercy.

The mother-daughter duo opened up about what led them to the idea to do their own show after making a major impact on the first season of RHOJ.

“After the reunion, I really wanted to do another show, but with just me and Madam,” Mercy told Daily Sun. “When I told her about this idea, she said she enjoyed recording the show and would be keen on doing another one. So we teamed up with some of the people we worked on RHOJ and made this magical show.”

“As someone inspired by the Kardashians, I am happy to finally get my own show, she said. Mercy said viewers should expect to see the glamorous and not so glamorous parts of their lives.

“People will see the reality of life. From women issues to personal and health issues. But most importantly, they will see how women support each other and what family means,” she continued. “We’ll have our closest friends and family in the show. So people will see the kind of relationships we have with other people,” said Mercy.

The fitness guru revealed why she and her mother wanted to do their own show. “We want people to learn from our story. We want to show that people go through the same things, regardless of who they are.”

“Through the show, they will know that nobody is perfect,” she added. “We’re all trying to get through life.”
