Kenya Moore Clarifies The Comments She Made About Her Husband Marc Daly Communicating With His Ex!

Kenya Moore is clarifying the comments she made about her husband Marc Daly during Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore shared that she caught her husband Daly texting his ex.

If you recall, Moore revealed the details of the night that ended her marriage. In the episode entitled 'Greece Is The Word,' her RHOA co-stars reacted to the news of Kenya's divorce.

Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss went on to check on the former Miss USA, who revealed that she was feeling 'confused' by the whole situation.

"I don't know what I should be doing with myself right now," she said, wiping away tears, according to The Daily Mail.

She claimed that Daly 'forced her hand' into announcing their divorce. Moore told Burruss and Bailey that she didn't even know they were separating until her publicist called her and told her that Mark was making a statement.

"Everything just happened so fast," she recalled. "We went to the event and he seemed very irritated the whole time we were there, not loving, not being nice to me, he was just saying little things under his breath. It seemed like everything I was doing, it was an issue."

"He ended up getting in the Uber, and we took off, and then he was just livid," she continued. "He was like, ''I didn't even want you to come.'' Somehow, I ruined his night. Every time he gets mad, he goes in. He goes for my throat. It's like he can't stop until he feels like he is just completely destroying me."

If you recall, during last week's episode, Marc was dismissive of Kenya's attempts to support his charity fundraiser, critiquing choices she made and never thanking her once. It was revealed at the end of the episode that the couple announced their separation the next day of the event.

Kenya made it clear during Sunday night's episode that her husband has never laid a hand on her but their relationship did give her flashbacks to a past relationship that was "very physically abusive."

While Moore said that she didn't want a divorce, she admitted that her 'instincts' told her Marc could be cheating, especially after she found a text from a woman in New York who begged him "to keep the sex going" after his marriage.

She told Marc it was 'inappropriate' to be texting her, and they discussed separation, after which he had apologized. Kenya revealed that she called the woman, and told her, "You might want to take me off the speakerphone. This is Mrs. Marc Daly."

"I proceeded to let her know if she came anywhere else near my husband, I know where she lives," Kenya added, though she did say she regretted the call.

"When you cross the line that he crossed the other night, I've been through too much in my life to accept that," she noted, saying privately that she had ignored 'red flags' about Marc. "Just sit here and be in turmoil all the time, or unhappy and crying."

While the scene aired on Bravo, Moore took to social media to clarify the comments she made about Daly texting his ex.

"The story I told @Kandi and @cynthiabailey10 about the ex wanting to "keep it going" was shared from Marc just weeks after he told her he got married nearly 3 years ago and that was her response. #RHOA," she tweeted.

In January 2020, the couple announced their separation but last month, Moore gave an update on their current relationship.

“We are in a really good place right now,” she said on SiriusXM’s Amy Phillips. “Our relationship has really taken a turn. He has been so kind to me, sweet, you know, ‘how’s your day? What’s going?’ Our relationship hasn’t been this good in a really long time.”

Phillips pressed her on how long their relationship has been in its current state. “It was around October, November, yeah,” Moore replied.

Moore then revealed when she realized their relationship turned to which they eventually ended up splitting.

“I think [our relationship] turned when we celebrated Brooklyn’s birthday together,” Moore told Phillips. “Listen, my heart is beating in another person. And so for me, all I have ever wanted to do is protect her and I will till the day I die. And if that means protecting her from just negativity or anything within our home, then I’m going to do that and when I saw that we had an opportunity to co-parent and do it in a great way and be an example for Brooklyn, I said, ‘Let’s do the party together.’ And we did, and we had a great time. And then I just think that showed him that you know I’m not after him. I wanted a calm, peaceful home and a great environment for my daughter.”

Moore and Daly tied the knot in “a romantic” and intimate St. Lucia ceremony in June 2017, and immediately got to work at starting a family. They eventually turned to in vitro fertilization for help, Moore announced that she was pregnant with her first child back in March while taping the RHOA season 10 reunion. In November 2018, the couple welcomed their daughter Brooklyn.
