Erika Girardi Bids Farewell To ‘Chicago’ Early After Broadway Shutdown Over Coronavirus!

Erika Girardi revealed that her role as Roxy Hart in Broadway's Chicago is ending a few weeks early after it was confirmed in a New York Post report that Broadway will shut down on March 12 through April 12 in the wake of the coronavirus situation.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was supposed to perform in the famed musical through the end of the month and bid the show a fond farewell in an emotional tweet, according to Bravo.

"Well this is not the way I wanted to say goodbye to Roxie and my Chicago family but I have no choice. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone that came to the shows," the woman otherwise known as Erika Jayne wrote. "I leave NYC feeling like my mission is incomplete but I will treasure this time always."


Erika also received love from Bravolebs in the comments section of her Instagram post after she made the announcement in the social media platform.
