Shannon Beador Claims She Tried To Introduce Her New Boyfriend John Janssen To Ex-Husband David Beador But He “Walked Away” — David Responds!

Shannon Beador is sharing an update on her relationship with ex-husband David Beador. The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed how the show affected their breakup. “I would have been divorced earlier,” she said during the RHOC panel at BravoCon 2019, according to PEOPLE.

“Being on the show gave me more motivation to stay together. Maybe when I found out about the affair, I would have gone. I don’t know.”

The mother-of-three also revealed that her ex has not met her new boyfriend, John Janssen.

“It’s strange. I tried to introduce him to John, but he walked away,” Shannon said. “There’s a lot of anger still,” she said, of her former husband. “But I can’t control him.”

Meanwhile, David is denying Shannon's claims and fires back. “I’ve tried to take the high road on this,” David told PEOPLE in a statement. “I never walked away from an introduction with Mr. Janssen. In fact, I’ve been within 20 feet of both of them and they never said a peep.”

He added: “I’ve requested she and her cast mates stop talking about us multiple times but they are bullies and bullies feel better about themselves when they refuse to look inward and focus on themselves.”

Meanwhile, Shannon said that she and Janssen are stronger than ever. “He’s just a great person,” Shannon said. “If I were to make a list of the perfect person for me, he has all those attributes. You see it in movies and you think it’s not real. I’ve never been happier.”
