Janet Roach Confirms Her RHOMelbourne Return For Season 5!

Janet Roach is officially returning to The Real Housewives of Melbourne for the show's upcoming fifth season. The Raw Essentials Tea owner confirmed the news with her followers via her Instagram page.

"Drinking all the @rawessentialstea Slim Tea I can today...getting #RHOM ready. I can't wait to see you for Season 5 xx," she wrote.

Last month, Roach hinted about her return when she was asking fans about her possible Season 5 tagline.

"Imagine what I'm thinking... now that it's Monday again, what will my Season 5 tagline be?" she wrote, while adding a clip of her Season 4 opening intro.

In September, Foxtel announced that RHOMelbourne was officially renewed for a fifth season and returning to television screens in 2020 after a long two-year hiatus.

Brian Walsh, the executive director of television for Foxtel commented on the show returning for a fifth season. “This series has a huge following of loyal and adoring fans and it was paramount we picked the perfect time to commission a fifth season,” Mr Walsh said, according to

Foxtel will be launching four new channels, Fox One, Fox Funny, Fox Hits and Fox Crime.  The Foxtel Lifestyle Group, which recently came under the control of Wendy Moore has undergone a brand revision which now also includes Arena channel.

“Our female audiences are incredibly important and this wholesale revision and revitalisation of the Lifestyle Group doubles-down on delivering more value through relevant and contemporary programming for Australian women and their families,” said Delany, according to TV Tonight.

“We know that seeing your own lives and dreams beam directly to your home is a powerful motivator. Our Lifestyle channels have built a strong emotional connection with women by inspiring them with what’s on-trend and what’s possible.

“We know however that life is about the perfect mixture of sugar and spice. Part of viewer enjoyment and well-being involves indulging their guilty pleasures.

“This is where the repositioning and refresh of the Arena channel fits in as the home of risqué reality, glamour and salacious gossip and drama. This will see the channel air a fresh, new series of Australia’s Real Housewives of Melbourne in 2020.”

The Daily Mail reported in June that the show will return with a major cast shakeup. “Some of the women have already been told unofficially that they'll be returning, so they've been doing everything to make sure they're camera-ready,” the insider revealed.

“Lydia Schiavello is definitely coming back, that's why she's in such great shape right now - she wants to look her best for the show. Jackie Gillies, Gamble Breaux and Janet Roach will most likely be back too, but everyone else is on the chopping block.”

“They've been interviewing plenty of potential new Housewives, and are even considering bringing back some old faces like Chyka Keebaugh or Pettifleur Berenger,” the source added.

Season 4 cast consisted of Gamble Breaux, Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello, Sally Bloomfield and Venus Behbahani-Clark.
