Judge Denies Lauri Peterson’s Son Josh Waring’s Request To Have His $1 Million Bail Lowered In Attempted Murder Case!

Josh Waring, son of former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lauri Peterson was turned down in his plea to lower his bail and push back his trial for attempted murder. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a California Court has denied Waring’s request and his trial will begin as scheduled on August 23.

Waring will not be given additional time to build his defense or have his bail lowered despite him believing the bond amount set was incorrect.

Josh recently filed the appeal in hopes of lowering his current bail of $1 million down to at least $500,000.

In his appeal, Waring claims his $1 million bail was set based on a series of mistakes. He believes the evidence shows he did not try to shoot a man named Daniel Lopez, who survived the gunshot. He claims the gunshot residue testing produced negative results.

Waring also believes the judge increased his bail based solely on one police officer’s testimony. He said the testimony the officer gave “contained multiple material misrepresentations” including the claim Waring had a criminal history for domestic violence and robbery, when he in fact did not.

Waring also hoped for the judge to lower his bond to which it would allow him to be free as he awaits for his trial. He agreed to wear a GPS monitor if allowed out, according to court records obtained by The Blast.

Waring has been behind bars since 2016. As previously reported, Waring was charged with attempted murder after allegedly opening fire on two people in Costa Mesa and then leading cops on a wild car chase on June 20, 2016. Waring was eventually captured and charged with three counts of attempted murder and several other felony and misdemeanor charges.
