Christine McGuinness Says Her Marriage To Husband Paddy McGuinness Is ‘Stronger Than Ever’ After ‘Poignant’ Year!

Christine McGuinness gives an update on her marriage to husband Paddy McGuinness after a challenging year the couple faced in early 2018. “This year has been really poignant. I turned 30, went back to work and got that ‘me time’ back as the twins have gone to school,” the Real Housewives of Cheshire star told the Mirror.

“Paddy and I are ending the year so much stronger. As a family, as a marriage, as a couple, as a mum and dad, we are stronger.”

The couple have learned to value what really matters to them after adapting to their children’s autism diagnosis.

The publication claims that Paddy admitted 18 months ago that some days felt “like you’re slowly drowning – like you’re underwater, desperately swimming up to get oxygen but never getting there.”

But things have improved for the McGuinness family. “It’s made Paddy and me better people – as well as making you think about what is important in life.”

The couple are bringing autism awareness as they will launch a television documentary next year about the condition.

“It’s going to be interesting, we both have different ideas, she told the Mirror. “We don’t argue but we discuss a lot and are both quite opinionated.”

As previously reported, the couple made several headlines last year after he was photographed getting cosy with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton in London’s Soho. While the relationship seemed strained after the reveling pictures were made public, Christine gave Paddy another chance.

While, Christine, who joined the ITVBe hit reality series last season as a "Friend of the Housewives," her husband wants no part of it and will not appear on the hit reality series.
