Kenya Moore’s Atlanta Home Hit With $153,000 Tax Lien!

PEOPLE reports that the IRS is accusing Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kenya Moore of failing to pay nearly $153,000 in taxes and now they allegedly are coming after her precious Moore Manor.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a tax lien was put in place against her Atlanta home to try and accrue some of the money she allegedly owes.

The documents, which were filed on October 12, cite a total of $152,678.36 in unpaid taxes for the year 2016.

Based on the terms of the lien, if she sells the property, she has to pay the government before she can receive any money herself.

As previously mentioned, Kenya Moore gave birth a the age of 47 to daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly at 9:39 a.m. ET on Sunday, November 4 the same day as the Season 11 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The baby girl weighs 5 lbs. and 12 oz, according to PEOPLE.

Kenya recently confirmed her departure from RHOA. After allegedly months of back and forth negotiations, Moore confirmed she was leaving the show after five years.

“I have decided to take this season off to focus on my high risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama free environment," Kenya told Bravo's The Daily Dish in a statement. "I thank Bravo for this amazing platform that has allowed me to grow, flourish and appreciate the value of what is truly important in life."

Kenya also thanked her fans for all of the love they have shown her during her time on the Bravo hit reality series in her statement. "And to #TeamTwirl: Thank you for your loving and relentless support — you will see me soon!" Kenya gushed, adding a reminder that her first child, #BabyDaly, is on the way.
