Gina Kirschenheiter: “My Intention Was Never To Throw Anyone Under The Bus”

Gina Kirschenheiter is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Gina Kirschenheiter opens up about her conversation with Tamra Judge over her friendship with Shannon Beador.

Bravotv.com: What is life (or certain weekends of your life) like in the casita?
Gina Kirschenheiter: It’s kind of odd. Before I go, I have all of these ambitious ideas about what I will do with all of my free time. I tell myself that I will work out, organize my life, clear out my “to do” list, etc. I am finding, though, that I actually just end up relaxing a lot and being—quite honestly—pretty lazy. A luxury I have not been privileged to have in a while! But then, with all this time to sit, think, and reflect, I get quite sad at times. I miss my kids a lot and feel so guilty that I am so close but am not with them. I know they want me there. They always do, and it is a bit heartbreaking that I can’t. This is the most painful part of the transition for me. They love and adore being with Matt, but let’s face it, daddy will never be mommy.

Bravotv.com: What made you reveal what was said about Shannon in Jamaica?  
GK: I was not there for the explosive fight between the women in Jamaica, nor was I there for the convo between Tamra and Shannon when they made up. Tamra did explain that their friendship was on the mend, and I think that’s awesome. I was simply concerned for Shannon. Early that day, Kelly and I visited Vicki at her hotel where she was recovering. Steve was there taking VERY good care of her, attending to all her needs and supporting her through this recovery. When we showed up at Shannon’s, she was completely alone, no friends caring for her, and her girls were out. She couldn’t see well. She seemed in pain and kind of down, and I really just wanted to check in on her to make sure for myself that she was in a good mental place before I left her in what I considered to be kind of a sad situation. I was just letting her know if she didn’t already that her friends were concerned for her and give her some support and love. I wanted to hear for myself that she was ok. My intention was never to throw anyone under the bus. I DIDN’T BRING UP TAMRA’S NAME! KELLY DID. And honesty, Kelly and I didn’t think it was a big deal because we were not coming from a bad place.

Bravotv.com: Did it surprise you to hear Shannon was upset that you brought her this info?
GK: I was SHOCKED that this whole situation got turned into a negative, ugly thing. I spent the whole day driving around and checking on them. I researched her surgery and what was best for her recovery and went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get her a special pillow and face ice masks. I wanted to do that because I care. Her closest friends obviously care about her, too, and I would never want to take that from anyone!! It’s ridiculous to think that I would intentionally cause a problem between them. We are all grown women, and to be honest, at this point I am so over the entire thing. I am the scapegoat for them to deflect from their issues.
