Vicki Gunvalson is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Vicki Gunvalson shares her thoughts on Shannon Beador's relationship with Gina Kirschenheiter.
Vicki writes:
"Welcome back to episode #12. I hope you are enjoying the season so far. I’ve been hearing from many of you that you have enjoyed this season, which makes me very happy. Now that we are heading into the fall and winter months, it’s one of my favorite times of the year.
It didn't surprise me to watch Gina break down over her divorce. Up to that point it had actually been more surprising to me that she hadn't really broken down. Divorce is so hard and having experienced it at age 28, and then again at age 50, I don’t wish it on anyone. I respect Gina's feelings, and I know from my own experiences she's going to have a lot of mixed emotions in the coming months (and years). I think the rest of us ladies are starting to come to terms with Gina's divorce, and I’m going to do my best in respecting her privacy. I’m glad that she's sharing her feelings with us so we will be able to support her if she puts up a wall around her and pretends everything about her divorce is ok.
The topic keeps coming up from Gina that Shannon is being cold to her. I don’t think that is the case at all. I think Shannon is a lot like me, where we don’t get super close to new girlfriends right away, and the truth of the matter is Shannon doesn’t have a lot in common with Gina. From what I have seen, Shannon has been nice to her, but they just don’t have a reason to hang out together. I think Gina needs to stop talking about it so much, and just let it be. In time things might change.
The topic of Emily and Shane is getting very uncomfortable regarding her wanting more children. He has made it very clear that he doesn’t want any more and to me that should be enough for her. She keeps talking about Annabelle not having a sister, but she is leaving out that Shane has two daughters, so she DOES have two half sisters. Why does she not bring that up, and why can’t she respect her husband’s decision? Five kids is a lot of responsibility for Shane, and to me he has made it very clear. No more children. Is it me, or is she really not understanding this?
I loved going to down to my son’s new place in Pacific Beach. He bought a three-story, three-bath home with a rooftop deck and is loving life. He runs his life insurance business from his home, so to say he has a great life is an understatement. Steve’s daughter Amanda and her long-time boyfriend Behrod are a great couple, and they have a lot in common with Michael and Dani, and it’s nice to see them all get along so well.
It seems from this conversation that all we do is talk about marriage. That’s not the case at all, but we do have our own set of viewpoints, which I respect. When Steve said “isn’t just being happy our end goal” …the answer is yes. If we decide never to be married but are happy, I’ll take that any day. Time will tell for all of us on what will happen regarding wedding bells."
