The two reunited as Mary traveled to Charleston, where Kiesel now calls home. Zilba took to social media to share the news with fans about their long-waited reunion.
"The BEST REUNION ever!!! Had such an amazing time visiting my dear friend and former cast mate @realchristinakiesel - She has always been and still is such a ray of light - my forever friend. So happy that something so wonderful came out of a bit of a harsh environment:)," she wrote on her Instagram page.
"Podcast coming soon and I am SO EXCITED for you all to hear what she’s been doing in the past couple years, her thoughts on RHOV and what’s coming up next and you never know...we may have a new project together ;)"
She added: "Thank you my darling for your southern hospitality- I love you to pieces!!"
As for Christina, she shared a selfie with Mary of the two having some drinks with the caption, "My beautiful Mary Zilba," she wrote.
Mary also took to her Insta Stories to share more videos of her reunion with Christina and shared a teaser of them recording an episode of Mary's upcoming podcast. The following pics are courtesy via Mary Zilba's Instagram page.
Back in April, Mary teased about reuniting with Christina and first announced that Kiesel was going to take part of her podcast.
"Anyone remember this scene from #RHOV??? Whatever happened to my dear friend the beautiful and amazingly entertaining CHRISTINA from season 1???," she teased.
"I have all the info coming your way on my podcast! You won’t believe what she’s been up to!!!!! If you thought she was entertaining on Real Housewives, wait until you hear what she’s doing now! A full hour of pure laughter and hilarious commentary coming your way in May on the #eatdrink&bemarypodcast" she continued by adding, "I can’t wait!!!"
Christina won't be the only Real Housewives star that Mary will be interviewing for her upcoming podcast. A few weeks ago Mary revealed that she had interview Real Housewives of Toronto star Roxy Earle.
"EAST MEETS WEST!! Was such a thrill meeting the incredible @luxuriousroxy from @realhousewivesoftoronto and to have interviewed her for my new podcast!!," she wrote earlier this month.
She continued: "She is so inspiring and I couldn’t be more excited for the launch of her new clothing line with @lechateau Roxy is a woman using her platform to help women of all sizes feel good about themselves with her movement #mysizerox"
She added: "She’s a force to be reckoned with!!! Thank you darling for telling your story and for being such an incredible role model for women everywhere!!! Podcast up end of May - Stay tuned!!!!"
Mary Zilba's new podcast, Eat, Drink & Be Mary will be launching very soon. I'm excited about Mary and Christina's reunion, as many of you know RHOV holds a special place in my heart. Season 1 is one of my Top 3 all-time favorite Real Housewives series. Most of our early content when we first launched this blog was surrounded mostly by RHOV. Can't wait to listen to Mary's interviewing Christina!
