Vicki Gunvalson Reacts To Brooks Ayers Wedding, Brooks Gushes About New Bride; Says He’s “Never Been Happier!”

According to a new report, Vicki Gunvalson was “shocked” to learn that her controversial ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers had gotten married this past weekend! “Vicki was put off by Brooks getting married. But she just thinks he is a total joke and she cannot wait until his new wife finds out what a crook he is,” said a source close to The Real Housewives of Orange County star told Radar Online.

However, Gunvalson’s personal feelings toward Ayers didn’t prevent her from taking the high road!, according to the source.

“Vicki reached out and sent her congrats, but she will always hate him and he knows this,” the insider told Radar Online. “He broke her heart and she will never let him back in her life.”

Ayers announced that he had married his new girlfriend Christy Linderman, in a Facebook post on Sunday. The two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Saturday, March 24, at a chapel at Sycamore Springs Park in French Lick, Indiana.

Ayers admits that the couple has been dating since November 2016.

“I’ve never been happier!” Ayers tells Entertainment Tonight. "We met in Indianapolis in November 2016 and began dating. We recently bought a house in Mississippi and we’re moving back there next month to be closer to my older children and my parents.”

Ayers also reveals that he hasn't stayed in touch with his ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson.

“I have not heard from Vicki in over a year and I don’t expect to hear from her,” he says.

Gunvalson and Ayers split in August 2015 after he admitted to fabricating medical documents about a non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis to the publication in March 2016. Gunvalson has denied involvement in the cancer scheme.

Meanwhile, Gunvalson has moved on as well. She has been in a relationship with retired homicide detective Steve Lodge since April 2016.
