by: Grant Ashley

I’m still riding high off adrenaline from my visit to the kitchen with Lydia and how she has a way with amazing flavours and warm hosting skills. You feel like part of the family for 3 and a bit hours and I enjoyed every minute of it.

LYDIA SCHIAVELLO has found her calling in the kitchen. The Real Housewives of Melbourne star has welcomed people into her home for cooking classes. “It’s phenomenal; it’s made my life so much happier,” Schiavello told The Herald Sun.

“I want to start getting into corporate as well and helping young kids so they can learn to cook. I am insanely coneys in the kitchen,” she explained.

Once a week, Lydia takes her guests through a four- course meal food, which is $395 per head.

The fourth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne wrapped up last week and she is looking forward to being involved in season Five.

“It’s brilliant that people can have this dining experience,” she continued. “People come from interstate and overseas... [they] love working in the kitchen and I have the ultimate fan base.”

Would Lydia like to have her very own cooking show?

“Housewives has given me the incredible opportunity to challenge myself,” she added.
