Ramona Singer Accused Of Scamming Bravo In New Lawsuit!

Ramona Singer is being sued by her former assistant. The Real Housewives of New York City star allegedly “asked [Lisa] Taubes to purchase designer clothes for the filming of the Bravo hit reality series, and instructed plaintiff to submit receipts to Bravo cable Network for reimbursement,” according to court papers obtained by Page Six, filed by agency T360, state.

She “then asked Ms. Taubes to return the clothes for refund.”

Singer, “also instructed Plaintiff [to] submit fake receipts for reimbursement on clothes that she already owned and demanded plaintiff carry out these tasks,” the complaint reads.

The lawsuit did not say how much money in total Singer made from the alleged scam.

The allegations emerged in a filing against Singer — who’s appeared on the show regularly for the past decade — by an agency called T360, which provided her with an assistant.

Singer initially agreed to pay $4,000 a month for up to 20 hours of assistant time, in addition to other fees.

Yet Singer allegedly demanded Taubes work more than 40 hours a week without extra compensation, in violation of their contract. The T360 employee was also forced to walk Singer’s Shih Tzu, Coco — “outside the scope of the agreement”— and was expected to be on call 24/7 to meet the TV personality’s demands, reports the publication.

The suit — which cites breach of contract and is seeking more than $150,000 in damages — says Singer eventually “humiliated” the woman by firing her in the lobby of her building, and then then trying to force her into signing a non-disclosure agreement.

When Taubes refused, Singer allegedly pushed her, causing the woman’s purse to upend and the contents to scatter across the floor of the lobby in front of bystanders.

“I have no knowledge of any lawsuit,” Ramona told Page Six. “Her company did some work for my company. The relationship ended and her company was paid in full for their services.”
