Mike Shay Slams Ex-Wife Scheana Marie On New Track “Grind For The Check”

Following the conclusion of the Vanderpump Rules Season 5 reunion, Mike Shay released a new track, titled "Grind for the Check," via Instagram with his group Dat Dope Group. The song features Shay spitting rhymes and venting about the end of his relationship with Scheana Marie. And he isn't being coy about who the song is about, since the video that accompanies the song features footage of his ex. "Today I officially close a huge chapter in my life," he captioned the video.

Shay doesn't hold anything back, criticizing his former wife and reflecting on their relationship.

Some lyrics of the song include, “I wake up every morning and I wanna make you smile. Told you to be patient, good things take a while. Left me stranded, pissed off and abandoned for the fame and fashion. F--k you! I have been grinding, making some moves.”

Later he references their second honeymoon, saying, "I enjoyed Hawaii too."

On the song he says that he's been "grinding" and "making some moves," and later notes, "I finally know what I am worth."
