Xscape Officially Announces Reunion With All Four Original Members After Nearly 18 Years!

R&B music group sensation Xscape confirmed on Wednesday that they have officially reunited. All four original members, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss as well as LaTocha Scott (via phone), Tamika Scott, and Tameka "Tiny" Harris, made the big announcement on Atlanta radio station, V103.

"Well we've been approached about a lot of different opportunities," Kandi teased, noting she wouldn't confirm anything specific "until the ink dry." But she did note the group will be performing again together in the future. They also didn't shrug off any and all possibilities of new music, a bigger-scale tour, and even a biopic. "You got to definitely come out support the shows," Kandi added.

Kandi revealed that she was inspired to get the back together after watching the recent New Edition biopic, The New Edition Story. And while the women of Xscape faced their fair share of internal drama through the years, they are ready to put it all aside and start fresh.

"It's so funny cause all the time people ask us, 'When are y'all gonna come back?' And it's been a lot that's happened over the years," she said. "But I'm not even gonna lie to you, watching The New Edition Story it definitely made me sit and think about our legacy as a group. And you know we actually decided to have a real conversation and really talk. It's been like 20 years though. It's been at least 18, I'll give you that."
