EXCLUSIVE: RHOV Alum Ronnie Negus Offers Advice To The Cast Of The Real Housewives Of Toronto: “Trust No One And Run Your Own Race”

Ronnie Negus is passing on some words of advice to the ladies of the upcoming new installment in the world wide Real Housewives franchise; The Real Housewives Of Toronto. As one of the original cast members of the fan-favorite series, The Real Housewives of Vancouver, Negus has a lot of wisdom to share with the Toronto cast.

Ronnie exclusively revealed to us that the new Canadian wives should strive to stay true to who they are and to watch their backs.

"The advise I have is watch your back. Trust no one and run your own race," Negus told us.

"That's what I did. Your best friend might have an agenda ... be aware," she continued. "Stay your authentic self. The ones who lie to come off perfect are generally transparent."

"People like real and like honesty. As much as the public likes to see you fall.... They like to see you get back up. They like a come back," added Negus.

"Try and remember who's on first and who's on second. It's a tough ball game and the curve balls come at you at lightening speed."

Negus appeared on two season of The Real Housewives of Vancouver. Ronnie admitted that she had fun during the first season but regrets returning for the second season right after her daughter Remingon nearly died after a choking accident.

"I really shouldn't have been back on [the] second season, and I should have healed," Negus told ET Canada back in 2015. "I thought if I went back, it would be really good for me to get my mind off what had just happened to Remington. I thought, Well, this'll be good, I'll go back on, and I can move forward. And truthfully, it was completely the wrong thing."

Negus experienced panic attacks during filming, "Like I was choking - similar to what happened to Remy," to the point that producers had to stop filming.

Since the show ended, Ronnie has been living a more calm and peaceful time, large part because of her found sobriety and remains good friends with former cast members Ioulia Reynolds, Amanda Hansen, Robin Reichman and Reiko Mackenzie.

Negus recently celebrated her one year of sobriety along with former cast members Amanda Hansen and Robin Reichman.
