Lisa Oldfield Throws Major Shade At Her Real Housewives Of Sydney Co-Stars: “I Found Myself Having To Dumb Myself Down”

Lisa Oldfield did not hold much back when she filmed The Real Housewives of Sydney. The very outspoken successful businesswoman gets candid about her experience on the show and drama with some of her co-stars.

“Look, I polarize people. I will have people who are so incredibly faithful to me, and others who cannot stand me. And you’ll see that on the show.” she tells WHO Magazine.

For Oldfield, trying to be friends—or, in some cases, frenemies—with six other women was stressful. “I’m not used to be friends with women in groups,” she says. “All this posturing, it’s like they’re trying to figure out where they stand in the pecking order.” In the premiere episode, Oldfield clashes with former model Krissy Marsh, and even today, the two remain on the outs.

“She got on my case about my Instagram,” reveals Oldfield. “You know, unfollow me then! Some of the things she says disgust me; I’m offended by the way she carries on sometimes. There’s no button to get her out of my life.”

“Intellectually, doing this show was very hard,” adds Oldfield. “You have no idea how hard it is to attack someone who doesn’t understand what you’re saying. I found myself having to dumb myself down, and at times it felt a little dirty. I shouldn’t have to bring a dictionary along every time I want to insult you… unless it’s to hit you over the head with it.”

The first season of The Real Housewives of Sydney premieres on Sunday, February 26 at 8:30pm on Arena In Australia and on Tuesday, February 28 at 8:30pm on Bravo NZ in New Zealand. For International TV Listings, click here!
