Mazel! Real Hosuewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania donated more than $100,000 worth of infant blankets and clothes to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, according to Paterson Press Staff via NorthJersey.com.
Catania, whose father Lawrence Spagnola is Paterson’s former police chief, made the donation to the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit last week on Thursday.
"St. Joseph's has some of the most skilled and dedicated doctors you will find anywhere and I wanted to do something to help the hospital as well as the parents and their babies that are born at the hospital,” said Catania in a news release. “This is just one way I can give back to the city I was born in and that my family called home for many years," added Catania, who was born at St. Joseph’s.
Catania acquired the blankets and swaddles from retailer Aden and Anais, which is headquartered in Brooklyn.
