RHOC Cast Reportedly Put On ‘Media Lockdown’ By Bravo Following Vicious Twitter Feuds!

The fights between the ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County has gotten so nasty on social media that Bravo is reportedly putting stop to it. According to a new report, production staff fired off a shocking letter to all of them, commanding their social media silence!

Radar Online obtained a copy of the alleged letter from production. It reads, in part, “…the social media viciousness has gone too far and you need to cool it. Specifically we’re asking you to stop attacking each other. The network is upset and so are we in production.”

“The constant, ugly fighting is a bad look for you, and bad for the show,” it reads. “You may not like each other, may not trust each other and often wish you weren’t on the show together – but taking shots at each other on social media isn’t the answer. Save it for the show… for the reunion… and please stop fighting so dirty.”

The letter begged the ladies to stop “negative mentions about the other cast members,” and urged the ladies to focus on their own lives and projects instead.

“We’re asking you to stop any negative mentions about the other cast members on social media. Talk about your lives, your kids, your grandchildren, your jobs, products…. Or whatever…. But please stop aggressively hitting each other below the belt.”

So what started this mess?

In the past few weeks, the ladies have been ripping each other part on social media and on their Bravo blog, especially between Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge vs. Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson.

It's clear that there is a division between the cast, as is Shannon and Tamra versus Kelly and Vicki. We previously reported that last week, Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge got in a nasty Twitter war with Kelly Dodd that even former RHOC stars Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek joined in to defend Dodd. However, the fight continued mostly between Beador and Rossi throughout the weekend. Rossi even claimed that the ladies complained to Bravo to have them put a stop to it, however Bravo can't control past cast members since they no longer have an exclusive contract with the network. However, this isn't the first time the ladies of the OC have been reportedly on media lockdown. Last year, things got so ugly between all the ladies following Brooks Ayers' cancer scandal that Bravo banned all the ladies from talking to the media.

“Right now, the ladies are forbidden to talk about each other and the entire cast is on media lockdown. This was done as a means of damage control,” an insider told Radar Online. “They have all been talking so much sh*t about each other that Bravo had no other choice then to step in and put a lock on it.”
