Charrisse Jackson Jordan's Husband Eddie Fired As Rutgers University Men's Basketball Coach!

Looks like Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and her husband, Eddie Jordan will be able to spend more time together. It's been reported the Eddie will no longer be coaching the Rutgers University men's basketball team. Last week, it was announced that The Real Housewives of Potomac hubby was fired from his position at the New Jersey university after three years on the job.

"I have decided that we need new leadership for our men's basketball program," athletic director Pat Hobbs said in a statement, according to NJ.com. "Rutgers University is deeply appreciative of Coach Jordan's efforts these past three years. He is and will always remain a valued member of the Rutgers Community."

Eddie and the Scarlet Knights finished the season at 7-25 following a loss to Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament this week. Eddie joined the team as coach in 2013 after playing for Rutgers in the 1970's. After a stunning upset over the Wisconsin Badgers in January 2015, the Scarlet Knights lost 32 straight league games in the Big Ten, marking the longest losing streak in 50 years.

Eddie's distance from Charrisse has certainly been an issue for the couple, as fans have seen them go through marital issues on the Bravo hit reality show. Charrisse discussed wanting a divorce from her husband on RHOP, but confirmed earlier this season she hasn't taken action on a divorce yet.

"I must admit, this is not the first and probably wont be the last time I feel that this is the absolute END. Our relationship has been a rollercoaster ride for the last three years. To date, I have not filed for divorce nor do I plan to. Sometimes I say and do things hoping for a positive reaction. There were times in my marriage where that strategy worked. Lately…not so much. But, I haven’t totally given up on my marriage as of yet. As the saying goes… It ain’t over until the fat lady sings," she shared back in late February. "So far I may have heard a note, but no one is singing. At least not yet."
