Kerr became known when she first appeared on Bravo's Most Eligible Dallas in 2011, then Kerr got her own spin-off series in 2013 titled Courtney Loves Dallas. After Bravo's announcement of RHOD, fans were speculating that Courtney was one of the cast members.
However, during her interview with FOX 4 News, Kerr set the record straight and said that she was not joining the show by saying "I'm not even married, I'm not a housewife." Kerr announced that her reality television days are behind her as she was no longe interested in doing them anymore. However she did expressed her excitement for RHOD.
