It all started when the Countess found out that Carole was dating her former chef (and her niece’s ex-boyfriend), things hit the fan, and even spilled over into social media.
Things have smoothed over considerably since then, and Luann recently opened up to Bustle about the experience.
“I was angry. I was the angry Countess for a minute. Who goes into your house and starts sleeping with your chef? I mean, come on,” she said.
“He’s like family for me, you know? He was going out with my niece.”
Luann also explained that her own etiquette rules played a part in her reaction. "We don’t do the help in my world. I know that sounds terrible, but it’s true," she added.
