"Life is short. My stepdaughter's mom just recently died less than a week ago," she explained to People, when asked why she chose to go from her signature blond to bold pink.
"And I was just thinking, you know what, I want to do something fun – and life is short, so why not? I did it."
Meghan also opened up about how her family is grieving after LeAnn lost her battle with cancer. "It wasn't a sudden death, but it was a tragic death," she said on Watch What Happens Live on Monday. "And everybody's feeling a lot of pain and grieving in their own way but we're really trying to celebrate her life and look forward to the future and just really cherish who she was."
