Lisa Rinna reveals that she has since apologized to the cast of The Real Housewives of Dubai after she recently dissed the show on social media.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a statement via Twitter. “I’ve heard from a lot of you over the last week about some comments I made on my Instagram Story,” she wrote, according to Reality Blurb. “I never meant for them to be interpreted the way they have been, but I truly appreciate you all reaching out.”
“I just had the opportunity to have a lovely chat with Caroline Brooks. Caroline, thank you for the open dialogue and conversation,” she concluded. “I have the utmost respect for all of the ladies on [RHODubai]. And I can’t wait to officially meet you, Caroline!”
Caroline Brooks confirmed that she spoke with Rinna and spilled the tea about their conversation in a series of tweets.
“Lisa Rinna called me and apologized for what she said and explained that she didn’t mean for her post to be an attack on [RHODubai],” Brooks tweeted. “She explained in detail what she meant and that she was, watch [RHODubai] instead of [RHOBH] if [you] don’t like her or are bothered by her or their show.”
“Also to clarify,” she wrote, “I don’t [watch] The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because it doesn’t air in Dubai. But I’ve seen clips. Accepting Lisa’s apology for the reference she made to our show doesn’t excuse bad behavior by any means… I’m speaking only to what she said about us.”
“We are all entitled to our feelings so I totally understand if some of you aren’t ready to forgive and move on,” she continued. “I certainly encourage you to though because holding a grudge and hate is too strong of a burden to carry.”
I explained how we felt by that post and why it could be taken differently based on how it was written and she apologized,” she added. “I don’t hold grudges. I’m an adult and if someone says sorry [then] I forgive and move on if I feel it’s something I can get past.”
Brooks also addressed the topic by sharing Rinna’s statement via her Instagram Story. “We had a lovely chat and I’m so happy you clarified what you meant in your post last week. I’m happy to move forward and move past it,” Caroline wrote, according to Reality Blurb. “Thank you for reaching out and I’m looking forward to meeting you soon. Have a great weekend [Lisa Rinna].”
Also, Rinna confirmed via Twitter that she also spoke with Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan. “Lovely speaking with you [Chanel Ayan]. Can’t wait to meet you,” she wrote.
In a separate tweet, Rinna wrote, “Lovely just speaking with you as well [Lesa Milan].”
To which Milan responded, “Likewise, lovely speaking to you.”
The news comes after Rinna issued an apology for her recent social media behavior. The Days of our Lives actress blamed it on grief following the tragic death of her mother, Lois.
Last week, Rinna shared a quote that read, “Grief never ends… But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith… It is the price of love.”
Lisa captioned the image, “I have had a really rough time of it I think you’ve seen how hard this has hit me. I’m sorry if I’ve raged on you, about you- it really has nothing to do with any of you.”
The Bravo reality star went on to explain that she “never thought” she would feel such intense grief that manifested in “so much more” than “sadness and pain.”
“I am really struggling, I just never thought it would feel like this but here it is. Losing my Mom has really hit me hard,” Rinna continued, thanking those who have shown her “patience,” “love and support” since her loss.
She continued, “I know it’s not easy to have warm fuzzies for me right now but I’ll get through this and hopefully come out the other side stronger and better.”
“Thank you for your support and your love. I so appreciate it,” she concluded.
Back in November, Lisa announced that her mother died a week after suffering a stroke. In the current season of the Bravo hit reality series, fans have witnessed Rinna dealing with her mother's passing.
In recent weeks, Rinna made headlines after she called out fans of the series for calling her co-stars racist for feuding with fellow co-star Garcelle Beauvais.
“We fight on our show if we fight with Garcelle we are all of a sudden called a racist. That’s bulls–t. I will not accept that. I will express myself when and how I want and I am not afraid of any of you hoes.”
She called on viewers who were “so triggered” by “RHOBH” to “watch Dubai” instead.
However, Ayan, Brooks, and Milan didn’t appreciate Rinna’s shade and clapped back.
